Rembrandt's Minerva is undoubtedly the most important picture ever handled by the gallery.

An in-depth brochure which addresses this painting was published in 2002. The brochure was written by Volker Manuth and Maricke de Winkel, two members of the so-called Rembrandt Team responsible for the monumental study of Rembrandt's paintings, with the first three volumes complete. Two additonal volumes by the Team are scheduled to appear.
